About
For the love of people, flowers & paint.
Devyn Larson is an intuitive artist and teacher living in Portland, Oregon. Her colorful and expressive paintings celebrate the joy and playfulness of life’s simple moments and the beautiful Pacific Northwest.
Watercolor is Devyn's first love, however, she is an equal opportunity art supply user. Procreate, acrylics and multimedia are also consistently on the menu.
Devyn earned her Masters in Arts & Teaching and has served as both a classroom & STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering & Math) teacher for 20+ years. Working full time, making time to create every day is a priority. Painting in the car, on lunch breaks and early/late in the studio are a long standing operating procedure.
As a guest teaching artist for Amanda Evanston’s Insiders Studio (adult art instruction) and the Chicken Coup Art Club (for kids) Devyn has loved being a part of an active global art community. Locally, she has served as a juror for the Portland Audubon's Wild Arts Festival, teaches at local events and participates in creative markets and art walks.
